From Me To We™

Frequently asked questions

What is the From Me To We™ keynote?

Doug's signature interactive keynote on human connection and performing as one team. It does not just talk about connection; it builds connection live in the room through Doug's own story, music and the three steps of the From Me To We™ Methodology: Awareness of Self, Awareness of Others and Collective Synergy. A room walks in as individuals and walks out as one team.

How is the audience involved?

Everyone takes part. Breathwork settles the room, followed by short, honest conversations with the person beside you. Body percussion and voice are then layered one part at a time until the whole room is playing one piece of music together. No musical ability is needed, nobody is put on the spot and nobody is left out.

What is the difference between The Keynote and The Drums?

Both use the same methodology. The Keynote needs no instruments, works in an auditorium with fixed rows and runs for 30–75 minutes. In The Drums, every participant receives a djembe and experiences collaboration through listening, holding their own part, leading and following. It runs for 15–90 minutes, with Doug handling instruments, support musicians and logistics end to end. A third format, The Workshop, is a tailored half-day session built around the client's brief.

How many people can The Drums work for?

The Drums works for groups of 10 to 3,000 people, with a djembe for every participant.

Where does Doug travel from?

Doug is based in Miami, so US events involve no transatlantic travel. He also works across Europe from Switzerland and travels worldwide.

Which languages does Doug deliver his keynotes in?

Doug delivers his keynotes in English and French.

Does Doug offer virtual keynotes?

Yes. The Keynote and The Workshop can both be delivered virtually. The work is at its most powerful when everyone is together in the same room, so the main focus is live, in-person events.
