Mother Africa has the Answers

2023 – As we all know it’s been an unprecedented year so far.

A war in Europe rages on. Prices continue to be high. The heatwaves are causing danger to our health. And AI is now destabilising how we live and work.

We are unquestionably in unchartered territory.

If you do or don’t take a break this summer, it’s likely time to take stock. It’s a time to consider our existence, ponder our future, and to realise what differentiates us from the technology that is being developed at breakneck speed!

Arguably human connection is one of the only things that we have left. We cannot automate checking in with each other to ensure we are healthy during these heatwaves. It is the differentiator between us and AI. It is what creates engagement and a sense of belonging.

Above all it is what our teams and clients want. Research proves that it is human connection that brings well-being. And in our increasingly divisive and isolated existence it’s what we all need.

Human connection has become about the only constant throughout our existence. And I am on a quest to deepen it in every way possible, not just in our organisations through my keynotes but also to the mainstream.

That’s why I decided to make a documentary about the need for the timeless wisdom of indigenous Africa in our boardrooms and societies.

Why Mother Africa? Because it’s the cradle of humanity.

I’m calling the film BEATS AS ONE, and here is the one minute teaser.

There is a unique opportunity for you and / or your brand to get involved in this potentially award-winning production. But only for a limited time.

If you want to know more, please reach out to me directly by replying to this email.

This is your opportunity to demonstrate to your teams and customers that you prioritise human capital, and that you are committed to a better tomorrow.

Have a great summer – please do your best to stay cool and healthy.

I am looking forward to reading you!

All very best,

Doug
