UNITY. HARMONY. TOGETHERNESS. TODAY’S CORPORATE VALUES?
Businesses and organisations often need to bring people together.
Perhaps your company has been through a merger or acquisition, and the different units need to integrate in a human way.
Or perhaps teams on different sides of the world or virtual teams need to work together in a global project.
It may just be that people who are working in close physical proximity are not connecting. Technology can often get in the way of human interaction, especially as people spend more time on social media.
MUSIC UNITING CULTURES
A powerful way to unite disparate groups is through music. That’s how my Do You Speak Djembe? Conference could help.
Do You Speak Djembe? started life as a concert. I’ve now made it available in a conference format which can be tailored for your business or organisation.
People will experience two completely different musical cultures coming together on stage – an amazing metaphor for harmony and unity.
Classical musicians who play from a musical score join with African musicians who neither read music nor count bars.
Saxophones fuse with African djembes (drums) and the kora (the African harp). Each member of the audience has a djembe, and takes part in the musical fusion.
The rhythms combine so that each person, each instrument, becomes part of an orchestrated whole. People connect with each other through the music, and leave feeling like members of one big family.
Why not add ‘harmony’ to the list of values your company aspires to with the Do You Speak Djembe? Conference?
OTHER WAYS TO WORK WITH ME
Transformation For Leaders
Are you a CEO or manager? Then you know you have to continually develop to be the best leader you can be.I would like to welcome you to experience a life-changing moment. Join me at the Egande retreat (Egande means peace) in the village of Abéné in Senegal, West Africa.
Lighting Up Lives
Abéné is the last undeveloped village on the coast of Senegal.
Only 20% of the village has electricity. How can 700 kids learn in a darkened schoolroom?
My dream is to create a stable electricity supply with solar panels and the power of the African sun.
